One question I often get asked is how many employees does the RAC have. Before I answer that, Let me share a little bit of a summary of a normal day in the life of Team RAC.

It takes three to four Front Desk associates most times of the day to keep up with member check-ins, guest passes, and phone calls, to name a few. The Fitness Floor Associates take endless steps, stocking towels, filling spray bottles, cleaning, and putting equipment away. The Activities Desk Team is the hub for member questions, phone calls, registration, bookings, classes, and lessons. The locker room attendants' job duties are endless: keeping up with the demands of towels, cleanliness, and repeatedly filling locker room consumables.

Group Fitness Instructors, Swim Instructors, Personal Trainers, Massage
Therapists, Youth Sport and Fitness Instructors, and the Racquet Sports Team are
all dedicated to your experience while using the club.

This place could not be considered "Family-friendly" without the dedicated associates that make up Kids Club and the Neighborhood. They do not take your trust lightly when you leave them in our care.

The Member Services Team is where membership starts. Although many members leave the club every month, the Member Services Team continuously signs up new members. The Business Office Team processes membership changes, membership payments, processes payroll, accounts payable, and so much more.

The retail spaces of Thrive and The Market are next. The team's friendly faces are often the last staff you may see when you leave the club—maybe stopping to purchase a smoothie on the way out or seeing something that catches their eye in the window of Thrive.

The Lifeguard's Team keeps you safe in our pools? This team (many of them younger associates) is mature beyond their years after they complete training. The peace of mind they provide is often overlooked.

The MOD Team provides leadership at the club and is the go-to person when staff or members have questions. They are excellent ambassadors for the club.

The work is not over when the club closes. Our dedicated third shift team arrives and cleans the entire club, so we are ready to do everything again the next day. This is undoubtedly a big job.

Lastly, the RAC Management Team is full of dedicated and hard-working people who do much for the club and our members.

Back to the original question: How many employees does the RAC have?
Currently, we have about 450 employees. They are often reminded how valuable
they are in cultivating a positive member experience.
