Tracking Equipment Usage for a Better Fitness Experience

We’re always looking for ways to improve your fitness experience at RAC, and we’re excited to announce an upcoming initiative that will help us make smarter, data-driven decisions about our equipment!

Starting Tuesday, March 18th, we’ll be partnering with Track My Gym, a leading company specializing in equipment utilization tracking. By placing sensors on our fitness equipment, we’ll gather valuable insights on how and when machines are being used. This data will allow us to:

✅ Make better purchasing decisions – ensuring we invest in the right equipment based on actual usage.
✅ Improve equipment availability – identifying high-demand machines and optimizing layouts.
✅ Enhance your workout experience – helping us create a more efficient and enjoyable fitness environment.

Key Project Dates:
📌 Sensor Installation: Tuesday, March 18 – Wednesday, March 19
📌 Data Collection Period and Member Interviews: Thursday, March 20 – Wednesday, March 26
📌 Sensor Removal: Thursday, March 27

Your workouts won’t be affected during this time. We appreciate your support as we continue enhancing RAC and ensuring we provide the best possible fitness experience.

Thank you for being a RAC member!

The conversation around ultra-processed foods and their potential negative impacts on our health is growing quickly. It’s important to remember that the term “processed” can have many different meanings when it comes to food. To identify better-for-you processed food items, scan the ingredients list (shorter is usually better), check the Nutrition Facts label for amounts of sodium, saturated fats and added sugars, and prioritize whole food ingredients.
